My name is Marco van der Sman. My passion lies in advising and supporting organizations in the selection, implementation, and further deployment of modern HCM cloud applications. I serve as the bridge between the HR department and technology and have extensive experience in implementing HCM and related payroll solutions, both as an (implementation) consultant and project manager. I believe in the importance of smooth and effective HR processes and am committed to helping companies achieve their goals in this area.

I am the calm and stable factor in projects and always willing to assist others. I know how to keep overview and always have the end result in mind. I am able to explain complex matters to my audience in a simple way.
Since 2001 I have executed HCM/payroll projects in various roles. I have worked as HCM/payroll implementation consultant, HRIS project manager and Oracle Cloud HCM presales/solution consultant, implementing the following solutions, Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion), Workday HCM, PeopleSoft, HCM, Oracle EBS HCM. My experience goes beyond specific software knowledge. I also have general HR, Talent Management and payroll knowledge and have experience in leading workshops, training of end users, managing project teams and support of sales activities.
It is my goal to support organizations with the choice, implementation and/or roll out of modern HCM cloud applications as project manager, business or implementation consultant.

My expertise primarily lies in Oracle Cloud HCM, where I possess in-depth knowledge, and I also have experience with Workday HCM. Also I can act as independent advisor. 

I am confident that with my experience and skills, I can guide organizations in optimizing their HR ecosystem.
